Book Celebration: Sehba Sarwar and liz gonzález

Join us for the celebration of two books: Black Wings (Veliz Books 2019), a novel by Sehba Sarwar, and Dancing in the Santa Ana Winds: Poems y Cuentos New and Selected (Los Nietos Press 2018), a multi-genre book by liz gonzález.

An open mic will kick off the event. The reading will be followed by a brief Q&A and book signing. Light refreshments will be served. (Space limited for the open mic; arrive early to sign up.)

Learn techniques to cultivate joy and creativity in your life with words, collage, and images. No writing experience is necessary.

Notebooks and writing utensils will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own writing utensils and materials.
